Calf leather refers to two to three-year-old calf, with smaller pores and stronger pulling force, but higher price. Calfskin is a high-grade variety because of its small or clear pores. Authentic calf skin, with a magnifying glass to observe the surface pores clearly visible, with hands as soft as a quilt smooth. In particular, South Africa's calf and sheepskin are thin, easy to color pores, so the color is bright and there are many colors to choose from.
The so-called calfskin is slaughtered when the cattle are young. The size of each calfskin is no more than 15 square feet (equivalent to 144 square inches of automobile hood size per square foot, equal to 30.48cm per foot). The leather is soft and smooth. Because of its scarce production, it is often used to make smaller leather goods
